This seminar explores how overseas Chinese and Jewish diasporas can learn from each other in the areas of succession and innovation in family businesses.  Both diasporas share many similarities but also show critical differences.  We discuss why the 14 million Jews are so influential in today’s world and how the 40 million overseas Chinese can also become as influential by adopting some of the Jewish behavior, while retaining their Asian values.  Family business leaders from both cultures are invited to share their experience including their failure stories.
