Mr Eddy W.M. LEE is the fourth generation of Mr Lee Kum Sheung, founder of the Lee Kum Kee sauce business. Mr. Lee was born in Hong Kong, educated in the USA, and is now happily married with four children. After graduating from the University of California, Davis, in 1980, with a major in Food Science and Technology, Mr Lee joined Lee Kum Kee Company Limited to develop the family business.
Mr Lee served in various senior management positions of the Sauce Group in the past thirty years, and took up the chairmanship of the Lee Kum Kee Sauce Group between 2002 and 2008 to oversee the worldwide operation of the Group.
Lee Kum Kee is now a leader of authentic Chinese sauces and one of Hong Kong’s few international brands that market more than 220 varieties of sauces to over 100 countries and regions around the world. Established in 1888, Lee Kum Kee was the inventor of oyster sauce and has since grown from a small family firm to a multinational corporation with a Sauce Group and a Health Product Group that it is today.
Mr Lee has been serving in his own family’s Family Council since 2002, and he has been serving as Chairman of Lee Kum Kee Family Investments Limited since 2009 managing other investments of the family that are not associated with the two core businesses. He is also currently the Chairman of the Lee Kum Kee Family Office.
